Andrea Federico Cecchin

ART DIRECTION | COMUNICAZIONE POLITICA | COMUNICAZIONE VISIVA | EVENTI

Hello, my name is Andrea Federico Cecchin, and I am an art director, graphic designer, and Italian artist born in Turin in 1984.

After graduating from the European Classical High School “Umberto I,” I earned a degree in “Neuropsychological Sciences and Techniques” from the University of Turin.

I gained widespread popularity thanks to my Facebook pages “In bici con Renzi” (Cycling with Renzi), “Bruno Vespa Invita Gente” (Bruno Vespa Invites People), “Carlo Hebdo,” and “Chiara Appendino Proibisce Cose” (Chiara Appendino Prohibits Things), which gathered thousands of followers. The images and memes I created became true icons of Italian pop culture, often used as tools for political satire on social media, in newspapers, and on TV.

Among my most famous works is “Luigi di Maio che facesse cose” (Luigi di Maio Doing Things), a series of cartoons depicting the former leader of the 5 Star Movement engaging in improbable and often comical activities.

Today, I work in the field of advertising and visual communication. However, I am especially known for my satirical and ironic images. My works have been published in numerous Italian and international newspapers, including “La Stampa,” “Repubblica,” “Wired,” “Times,” “New York Times,” “Le Figaro,” “The Independent,” and many others.

I am considered one of the leading figures in Italian political satire and a talented visual artist. My work has been exhibited in both solo and group exhibitions and continues to be highly appreciated by the public and critics alike.
